CAMEROON 1-3 GHANA: Black Stars Dominate Lions In Head-To-Heads
It will be a clash of Nigeria's bitterest rivals when
the Black Stars of Ghana take on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in
the semi-finals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon on
Thursday night.

GHANA 2-1 CAMEROON (1978 ALL AFRICA GAMES, GROUP STAGE)
Ghana and Cameroon first met in the group stage of the football event at the 1978 All Africa Games in Algiers.
Drawn with Nigeria and Mali in Group B, Ghana defeated Cameroon 2-1 and qualified alongside Nigeria into the semifinals.
Ghana lost 2-0 to hosts Algeria in the semifinals before piping Malawi 1-0 to claim the bronze medal.
GHANA 0-0 CAMEROON (1982 AFCON, GROUP STAGE)
For the first time, Ghana and Cameroon met at the AFCON after they were drawn in Group A with Tunisia and Libya.
After drawing their opening games, Ghana and Cameroon played out a 0-0 draw.
Ghana went on to qualify alongside hosts Libya, while Cameroon crashout with Tunisia.
CAMEROON 0-0 GHANA (1982, AFRICA FRIENDSHIP CUP)
After their encounter at the 1982 AFCON in Libya, Cameroon and Ghana met again in 1982 this time in the African Friendship Cup in Cameroon.
Just like in Libya 1982 AFCON, the game ended 0-0.
GHANA 1-0 CAMEROON (1994, SIMBA CUP)
Ghana and Cameroon had to wait until 1994 before they crossed path again, this time in the Simba Cup.
Played in Ghana, the Black Stars emerged 1-0 victors against Cameroon.
CAMEROON 1-3 GHANA (1998, AFCON 2000 QUALIFIERS)
Prior to pulling out of the AFCON 2000 qualifiers as a result of being picked as co-host of the tournament with Nigeria, Ghana were drawn in Group A with Cameroon, Eritrea and Mozambique.
Ghana travelled to Yaounde and defeated Cameroon 3-1 to kick off their qualfiying campaign before pulling out.
Cameroon went on to brush aside Eritrea and Mozambique to pick the sole ticket.
GHANA 1-1 CAMEROON (2000 AFCON, GROUP STAGE)
For the second time, Ghana and Cameroon squared off in the group stage at the AFCON in 2000.
Cameroon went 1-0 up through the late Marc Vivien Foe in the 19th minute.
Ghana drew level in the 57th minute via Kwame Ayew, younger brother to the legendary Abedi Pele.
Both teams qualified from the group and while Ghana got eliminated by South Africa in the quarter-finals, Cameroon beat Nigeria in the final tgo pick up their third AFCON title.
GHANA 0-1 CAMEROON (2008 AFCON, SEMI-FINAL)
The last time both Cameroon and Ghana clashed at the AFCON was in 2008 hosted by Ghana.
It was in the semi-final and Cameroon won 1-0 thanks to Alain N'Kong's strike.
Cameroon lost 1-0 to Egypt in the final while Ghana beat Cote d'Ivoire 4-2 to win the bronze.
